Academic Plan
The lease is for one more year, therefore I plan on searching for a new house in Kingston in order to come back for my fourth year. I plan on taking a lighter course load during my third year so I can have a part-time job during school and save up to rent a place on my own fourth year. I also plan on maintaining my doctor¿¿s appointments to keep my anxiety down to a minimum and relieve any stress. I didn¿¿t want to take a year off and apply to transfer to University of Toronto because I love Queen¿¿s and I am very determined to push through this. A break from all my stress here will allow me to come back ready to focus and study like I used to without all the extra worries and conflict. I have consulted with academic advisors a few times during this semester to plan out how I can put myself in a better position to succeed here, and this route was suggested.
I hope you understand and allow me the opportunity to better myself mentally and come back to Queen¿¿s ready to succeed and perform academically to the best of my abilities.
