Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

I am writing to waive the 21-day deadline to enroll in the PSYC 397 course. I was unaware that this course is required in order to pursue graduate studies in clinical psychology until just recently. I was also unaware that this course will not be offered this coming school year or the following summer because the professor teaching it will be on sabbatical. This summer is my only opportunity to take this course before I graduate so I would greatly appreciate any exceptions that could be made in this case.
