Petition Letter
Dear Dean of Arts and Science,
I am appealing to add Hist 260 for the summer and drop Hist 124.
I have been struggling with mental health issues and have been finding it difficult to stay on top of my academics. I took Hist 124 over the fall/winter semesters but was unable to complete it due to depression. I found out from my academic counsellor on Friday that I would need to retake Canadian History in order to graduate. By the time I tried to add the course on Monday it was too late. I have emailed the course instructor and she is willing to let me join the course if possible.
