Academic Plan
Steps within my Academic Plan that I have already taken this summer include current and continuous collaboration with Academic Advisors in Student Success to identify the correct plan of action to ensure my return to Queen's is successful. I have discussed the possibility of changing my major to a plan that better suits my learning style and strengths, such as Geography, with an Academic Advisor as Queen's. Along with the continuous help of Academic Advisors, I have also been collaborating with Queen's Career Services, and spoke with a career counsellor. Finally, I have obtained information about Student Accessibility from an Academic Advisor, and will be contacting them to ensure my personal educational needs are met. I have discussed the possibility of being put in a silent room with less students for examinations and tests, due to my inability to block out noises and distractions.
After I am registered under student accessibility services in the pursuit of academic accommodations, I will make regular counselling sessions through my family physician to maintain my mental health and organizational skills, and will continue increasing my prescription to a dosage that is more appropriate for my symptoms.
