Petition Letter
Coming into this year, I was apprehensive about the transition and I anticipated that having five core courses as my subject load would have made the adjustment period that much more difficult, so I declined to enroll in POLS110 during the initial enrolment period over the summer and took DRAM100 instead. A few weeks in, I realized that the academic transition was much easier than I had anticipated. Furthermore, I instantly disliked drama but did not want to write it off too early as I wanted stay committed, not knowing that the deadline to add a course was September 22nd. When I finally realized drama was definitely not for me, it was by then too late by academic regulations, which brings me to my current predicament. I am passionate about politics and I will likely take it on as a minor if I am admitted into this sole prerequisite course.
