Petition Letter
I am submitting this appeal to request the removal of certain grades on my transcript. I started my third year at Queen's in September, and three weeks ago decided to take a medical leave from school for the rest of the school year. These medical problems are the reason I am requesting the removal of the failing grades from last year's transcript (second year). I was heading back and forth from Kingston to Montreal every week, or every two weeks for multiple appointments. All the travelling and instability didn't help my existing health problems, which made the whole thing more difficult, which meant I couldn't focus on school, which lead to grades that don't reflect my academic capabilities. I am requesting the removal of these grades so that I can move forward after this year, in good health, and without being weighed down by the academic failures that were consequences of my poor health.
