Petition Letter
Hello my name is Samantha Hartmann,
during first semester I completed under 60 of these two courses as my Grandfather (who was like a father to me), became very sick with an untreatable form of cancer. Consequently I was going back home to Toronto as often as I could for as long as I could. He passed away at the end of October and so I had to spend more time at home helping my family and myself grieve and make arrangements for his funeral. As my mom is a single parent and my grandmother was also not of good health at the time, I was preoccupied greatly with being a primary support for my family. These two courses unfortunately fell during the times in which I was leaving for home or already at home.
