Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
I am appealing to drop two courses from this past winter term due to a struggle with mental illness. Around February I was really struggling and so I thought it would be best to focus on three of my five courses that I was enrolled in. I chose to dismiss both MATH 225 and ECON 239 with the intention of applying to drop these courses late. I realize I should have done this right when I had decided to dismiss them. From the beginning of February onwards no work was done for both of these courses (final mark 5). I should have handled this sooner - it has been a rough couple of months. I will be meeting with my doctor this week to get medical documentation regarding my mental illness and I will attach it to this appeal.
