Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
I am a third year music student requesting an appeal to change a course level. During my process of course selection last summer (Academic session fall 2013), entering into my second year, I selected the wrong course level for my large ensemble credit. The course I selected was 178, which is Wind Ensemble for first year students. I had already completed this course in first year and therefore needed to add 278 for my second year. I completed 278 during my second year, but on my transcript it shows that I have taken 178 twice instead. I am therefore requesting an appeal as I do not want 178 to show up on my transcript as being taken twice, when in reality I completed both 178 and 278 and should be getting the credits for both courses.
