Academic Plan
Seeing as how this lifestyle will not bode well for my academic career, I have created a plan to ensure success for my third year so I am able to raise my GPA and come back to Queen¿¿s. My plan starts with taking a summer course this summer. Provided I am allowed back at Queen¿¿s, this course will raise my GPA so that during my 3rd year, it will be even easier to get my GPA up to an acceptable number. Additionally, I have already spoken to the professors of the classes I did poorly in this year, so that next year when I re-take those courses, I will be able to sit down and have weekly meetings with my professors separate from their own office hours so I am able to get help with any problems I may have in the course, and ensure my success in them. Much of my plan also has to do with organization; with organization comes a clear mind. I plan on meeting with academic advisors to make a day by day plan on how to use my time more efficiently and effectively which includes planning class time, free time and study time to make sure I don¿¿t fall behind in any courses. All in all, I am doing and will do everything in my power to ensure that I can become the good student that I once was, and the good student that I know I can be. Thank you so much for taking the time to read over my case, and for taking my extenuating circumstances into consideration for enrollment for the 2018/2019 school year.
