Petition Letter
To the Associate Dean,
I am writing this letter to you because I am requesting to take 12 units(four courses) of my fourth year seminars at UTM. I would still like to graduate as a Queen¿¿s student because it is reflective of my full academic journey and, therefore, has a place in my personal identity. In the future, I would like to be able to look forward to being a Queen¿¿s alumni. Despite this, due to my academic and personal situation outlined in my previous letter, I believe that, for my success, it would be best for me to work from my home. Mississauga is where my mental healthcare providers are and it is where I believe I am less likely to fall into bad habits of isolation. My support network is primarily in the greater Toronto area and I would prefer to not be separated from it. In prioritizing my performance as a student, regretfully, I believe I will need to complete my journey outside of Queen¿¿s. Thank you for your consideration.
