Academic Plan
Dear whomever this may concern,
Should my appeal be granted I plan to take a lighter course-load in the further to ensure that I do not overwhelm myself and to keep my mental health in check. I also plan to speak to an academic advisor once I do return to campus about potentially taking an addition term in my undergraduate degree to further lighten my course load and set myself up for academic success. Since the trigger to my mental health crisis is the illness of a family member, which is a temporary extenuating circumstance, I am hoping to having my course dropped and taken off my transcript so that I can take it again in the future I have also spoken to accessibility services about seeing a psychologist/mental health professional in Kingston to ensure I have the support I need during the school year.
Thank you for your consideration,
