Academic Plan
In order for me to succeed, I need to have a plan. Although I strongly believe that I can handle the academic rigors of Queen's University, I have been away from the school for some time, so I would still need to have a transition. During the 2018-2019 school year, I plan to take full use of the services offered at the school, library etc. This includes the Queen's Student Academic Success Services. Taking full advantage of these tools such as the Writing Centre, dealing with stress at University, time management will help me better prepare this time around, and it would help me understand that there is a support system there, should I choose to pursue it.
I also plan on taking a lighter course load (80), that would also help me transition back into Queen's University in a smooth way. Although I believe that I have fully overcome my personal problems, I strongly believe that there is always someone I can talk to, which is why I plan to conduct regular meetings with a personal counselor at the school during the 2018-2019 school year just so I can be able to separate my personal problems and have it not interfere with my academics.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that Queen's University is the school for me, I believe that a moment in my life cost me a couple years, however, I take complete responsibility for it, and I believe I have come out the other side for the better, and I am now completely focused on finishing up my education specifically at Queen's University, and I hope the Associate Dean can grant me another chance to return to school during the 2018-2019 school year.
