Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean
My name is Remy Boileau. I am a third-year Applied Economics student. Last year, I had applied to a few Universities through the Bilateral exchange program. I was thrilled to have received my number one choice, being Universitat Tübingen, in Germany. I applied for the winter term, which in Tübingen is April to July. I had a few reservations about applying for this semester, as it conflicted with a few commitments, however, it was looking like these conflicts would be resolved in time for the semester.
After many efforts, my parents and I have decided that I, unfortunately, will not be able to participate in a Bilateral exchange from April-July. Once I realized this, I went to the IPO immediately, to find that there were no possible trades or placements available through the exchange program at this point in the year.
My plan would be to attend the Bocconi University, specifically their School of economics. Upon reviewing their website, I fit all academic and other admission requirements, the school has a strong academic reputation, and I would be able to attend its entire spring term.
I would plan on taking a full course load including multiple economics credits.
It would mean so much to me to receive this statement, as I have been looking forward to studying abroad for quite some time now.
Kind regards,
Remy B
