Petition Letter
To whom this concerns,
The course instructor has received the doctor's note in regards to the extenuating circumstances which required immediate removal from Kingston to Sudbury to receive health care for the psychological illness. I have reached out and am currently getting medical care for this situation/illness and am unable to return to Kingston until the flowing year (I'm going on exchange in February to Australia). During the period of this current two-week health supervision, I have missed the final midterm for this class. I have completed over 80 of this course, with marks well beyond the pass mark, displaying academic understanding and completion of the course. With this immediate health situation, I am unable to engage in any cognitive work, but most importantly I was not in Kingston during the time of this midterm. With this, I am requesting to omit the midterm as I will not be coming back to Kingston until next year to write the exam.
