Academic Plan
As outlined in my appeal letter, my academic plan is to return to studies to be eligible to submit an appeal to drop courses late, take some half term classes in the Winter term to override or mitigate some GPA impacting F¿¿s if I can¿¿t get them dropped and apply to Laurentian University¿¿s pre-health program through St. Lawrence College and taking another year of classes at Queen¿¿s if unable to get in for any reason. Beyond that I would like to mention that I feel that I am academically able to handle the challenge as the completed classes on my transcript show well-above average academic competence as my requirement to withdrawal and subsequent issues around that were more due to not engaging with the material by not going to class or doing assignments rather than not being able to understand or handle the material presented. I do specifically intend to meet with the student services department a few times over while working through improving my GPA but classwise will be utilizizing professor¿¿s office hours upon returning to ensure my basis in the information presented is still sound and to ensure understanding of the material presented.
