Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
My name is James Bradshaw and I am a second year student here at Queen¿¿s, majoring in Philosophy. This year has been a great experience academically, allowing me to explore all realms of the scholarly world. However, this semester also brought on a series of challenges, specifically a diagnosis of clinical depression that took a monumental toll on my academics. I have submitted an academic consideration request, however due to the extenuating nature of my medical situation I have fallen considerably behind in MUSC104, leaving me unable to catch up with the required work that would allow me to pass the course. It is because of a recent deterioration in my already struggling mental health that I am requesting this appeal to drop the course. I have attached a letter from my physician which supports my claim. I thank you for understanding and look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks again,
James Bradshaw
