Dear Associate Dean,
My name is Braeden Schnorbus and I am writing to you to explain why I am currently not studying at Queen¿¿s University. Early last year, I applied to study at Queen¿¿s University in the area of Kinesiology. I was accepted to the program and confirmed my offer of admission. Shortly after this, I decided that I would be taking a gap year to work and travel. I applied for a one year deferral from Queen¿¿s University. My deferral application was denied by the school and so I changed my status and declined my offer of admission. I am not sure of the exact sequence of events however it appears that Queen¿¿s believed that I remained a student. This was unbeknownst to me and so in January of this year I reapplied to Queen¿¿s in General Sciences and I was once again accepted. The issue I am having is that I have received a T4A for 2018 for the generous acceptance scholarship that had been offered but which I did not receive, due to my change in status. I am requesting that the T4A be rescinded so that I may complete my taxes properly for 2018. I apologize for any inconvenience I have caused and I thank you for your time.
