Academic Plan
As detailed in the letter above, we are going to continue to pursue solutions that we have found to be beneficial throughout this past year. This includes the continuation of weekly sessions with my therapist, Dr. Rylie Moore, who has helped me to rebuild and maintain a structured lifestyle over the course of this past year. Furthermore, we are going to continue using the same noninvasive medication regimen that has kept me stable since it was first prescribed. We have found that, in contrast to prior years, this current solution has led to consistent stability and success, both in and out of school; thus, bringing us to the hopeful conclusion that this 'structured-lifestyle' approach is not only academic, but universal to all environments. Although this appeal only applies to academic standings, I believe that it is important to note that this treatment plan has brought stability to circumstances outside of Queen's University. Oftentimes in the past, external circumstances have had an affect on my mental disorder and, in turn, affected my academics. Being able to have stability, not only in school, but in universal situations and environments - will play a pivotal roll when succeeding in my future academics. Furthermore, I am currently enrolled in Calculus for the entirety of the summer term. Mathematics is one of the core foundations of Computing - the program I wish to pursue - and have made it a point to meet with a local math tutor on a weekly basis. Not only will this help me with the summer course, but to also help further solidify my foundation in Mathematics for future studies in the Computing field. Finally, I plan to continue to develop software as a source of income over the summer - as I have been doing since grade 9 - and increase my course load in the coming Fall semester.
