Academic Plan
I have been reflecting for the past few weeks on my behavior throughout my first year in university, and I have realized my faults:
- I should have reached out for academic and mental health early on, when I had the chance.
- I need to re-evaluate the balance I give to my physical, mental, and academic needs and requirements.
- I have to prepare myself for the pressures involved with being an adult.
Along with recognizing my faults, I have also prepared a rigorous study routine involving my courses and education for next year.
- I have devoted a study schedule and a space after classes and a space where I can work quietly and confidently. This includes attending every single lecture and reviewing the notes after classes.
- I am fully prepared to retake classes and attend summer classes to make up for my failed classes.
- When I require academic or mental guidance, I am prepared bear through the stigma that I fear involving seeking help and have friends who will openly support my through the process.
- I will discipline my balance that I give to my quality of life that being my physical, mental, and academic needs.
I have also done my research and I¿¿m fully prepared for the consequences involving my failure to uphold the standards of Queen¿¿s University: that being a three-year suspension of my studies at Queen¿¿s University.
To conclude, I appreciate the time you have taken to read my appeal letter. I sincerely believe that I am still finding my way toward being a better version of myself, and continuing my education will intensely help with the process.
