Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean,
I am appealing to drop ECON 239 and replace it with ECON 262 in order to fulfill the economic requirements of my PPE degree. The level of math in ECON 239 is much higher than I had initially expected and I know that I will perform poorly in the course. This could hurt my otherwise strong academic record and potentially my prospects for graduate school. On top of this, I am taking two research seminars and I am on two executives at Queen's. I feel like the extra work this course will require will be unmanageable and therefore detrimental to my academic and personal success. I believe that ECON 262 will enable me to achieve success and have a more balanced course load while acquiring the credits I need.
