Petition Letter
Good Afternoon,
I hope whom ever reads this is doing good during these times. I write to you today to appeal for a late class drop.
I am an international student and during the months of March-May I was under heavy quarantine as I am from a place with limited resources to protect itself from this pandemic. During my time in quarantine, I had very limited access to WiFi leading to problems with a few of my classes. Fortunately, the majority of my classes were very close to completion therefore I was able to finish them without problems. However, one of my classes (Pharm 100) was not close to finishing and had very narrow deadlines. All of this led to a poor grade that is negatively affecting my GPA and hindering my chances on obtaining the financial support I need to Continue.
In the month of May I had a few email exchanges with Ms. Jeanne Mulder an academic advisor in order to find a solution to this problem. Unfortunately, there was a bit of confusion which left me under the impression that Ms. Mulder dropped Pharm 100 for me. However, when I requested my transcript recently I saw that Pharm 100 was still on there.
I would appreciate your assistance in allowing me to either drop the course or in the photo I provide it says that she could allow me to pass the course without the required documentation. I wish for the best outcome. Thank you very much and I apologize for such a late notice.
Yours sincerely,
Kaleo Place
