Petition Letter
I am appealing to drop ENIN 140 (Summer 2020).
My grandfather is in palliative care at my home in Vancouver. He¿¿s currently in heart and kidney failure. His cardiologist has predicted he has weeks to live. I chose to stay at home and help my mother with his ailing condition during this summer. I found that living under the same roof as my family was too emotionally draining and was unable to give any time to my studies. I didn¿¿t consider dropping this course earlier because I was overwhelmed and have now with the support of my friends have taken the steps to getting back on track.
I plan to study this term at Queen¿¿s. I¿¿ll be able to move out of my mum¿¿s house now that I¿¿ve returned to work. This will give me the separation from my family to succeed in my courses.
