Academic Plan
My academic plan consists of taking every step that is necessary to major in economics. My goal is to become a sales analyst or economic consultant. To achieve that goal, I will be following the economics major map that was provided by the university to ensure that I am going in the right direction. For my first year, the classes necessary are the following: MATH 121 and ECON 110. In my second year, I will take ECON 212, 222, 250 and 255, along with courses outlined in the Academic Calendar. For my third year, I will take ECON 310, 320 and 351. For my fourth year, I will work on my remaining core, option, and elective courses. To ensure I attain academic success to reach my goal, I will hand in every assignment on time, focus on studying, stay on top of my classes, contact an academic advisor and ask for help when needed. If my appeal is granted, transitioning from MATH 120 to MATH 121 will be perfectly fine for me as I have stayed up to date with MATH 120. If my appeal is denied, I will take MATH 121 or 126 during the summer.
