Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean,
I am appealing to waive the 21-day appeal requirement. I had experienced severe mental health issues for the past four years which had significantly impacted my academic performance. I did not appeal within the allocated period because I did not foresee my academic performance improving since I still did not feel mentally stable.
I have finally learned how to manage my mental health, allowing me to succeed academically. I am now asking to appeal for courses I have taken between 2012 and 2014.
