Petition Letter
Hello, my name is Dyson Hague. I am a second year political science student studying in Kingston. Due to COVID-19 and the financial crisis that it has precipitated has impacted me an a way that I had not foreseen affecting my courses and the way I need to structure my degree. Due to the financial impact of COVID-19 I will need to take on a larger work load in the summer to pay for living expenses and as a result I don't think I will be able to complete a political science course over the summer which was my plan before this crisis. As a result I need to change my plan and take an additional political science course in the winter semester of this year. In addition to this my mental health has been negatively impacted by COVID-19 and especially my not realizing the necessary academic changes to the courses I take this year. I hope that this appeal will be strongly considered. Thank you.
