Academic Plan
I am in continued consultations with Melissa Balson who is out Undergraduate Program Assistant. Since my concussion in 2019, she has guided me through adjusting my course loads and planning for my academic success. With that, I will be taking a 5th year of my undergraduate degree to take my remaining courses in Physics. I am completing the rest of my 3rd year courses, not taken last year, right now. Next year, I will be taking my remaining 4th year courses to complete my degree. I am a very motivated and driven individual. I always stick to my plan and prepare things well in advance. My concussion and extended recovery time was a very unexpected and uncontrollable circumstances that affected me deeply, not in just my academics, but also my physical and mental health. I continue to grapple with residual symptoms such as migraines, eye pain, and fogginess. Nevertheless, I know that Astrophysics is what I love and what I want to pursue. I have continued to commit myself to completing this degree while contributing to the Queen's community. I hope that is evident through my appeal and my continued academic commitment this year.
