Academic Plan
If I were granted an appeal on GEOL 200 so that I could drop the course without a financial penalty, I would plan to take a summer course in the summer of my third year to make up the credits. I think that without the stress of a third course I will also be able to focus on my other two summer courses as finals approach, which would benefit me academically. Additionally, GEOL 300 is not a requirement for my degree so dropping this course would not restrict my ability to graduate on schedule. My academic plan if I am granted this appeal, would be to focus on my current classes and then take a summer course next summer which I would finance with the refund from GEOL 200, if this appeal is approved.
