Petition Letter
Dear Academic advisor of Faculty Art and Science
This letter is written in support of the request to cancel the withdrawal of one year for my study. If the withdrawal is cancelled, I will make sure to make a perfect academic plan for the study of the Fall term and the following terms. I will make good notes for every class and finish every Homeworks on time and attend all quizzes or exams, all these things I will try my best to get a high grade.
The following is a list of reasons why I am not able to pass the first year of school:
The reason is because I was infected with covid19 during the semester, which had a significant impact on me. When I first contracted covid19, I was in the online class stage. The high fever for half a month prevented me from studying. Or finish assignments and exams, I did not know how to contact professors and TA (Teaching Assistant) to change assignments and exam times, which made me miss a lot of assignments and exams. When the second covid 19 happened, it was already offline. This time I knew how to change the time for homework and exams, but I still could not participate in offline teaching, not only because of physical reasons, but also because of the prevention of infection. Many people, whether professors or students, cause unnecessary trouble for everyone. The two infection experiences made it difficult for my classwork to keep up with the teacher's progress, which also prevented me from getting a satisfactory grade in the subsequent exams and assignments. After this incident, I know that I must always wear a mask and places for my future studies. This not only protects my health, but also enables me to study and live in a good state.
I know that because of my own problems, I did not have a satisfactory grade in the district during my first year in Queens University, but in the later studies, I will learn from the previous lessons of the last year study and strengthen my ability, so that I will not let the school and my family worried about my studies any
