Academic Plan
As far as a realistic academic plan goes, I am not entirely sure what that would look like for me but I was in conversation via voice call with an academic advisor and she suggested I request to drop some of my failed courses which could potentially raise my GPA, allowing me the chance to apply for the Film and Media specialization. Mention of transitioning to a 3-year program opposed to a 4-year honours program was also discussed. Ideally, I would be allowed permission into the Film and Media program as that is truly what I want to be doing at Queen??s. I would do anything to continue my studies at Queen??s. I will take any summer courses necessary to catch up, and I will retake any courses necessary to repair my GPA. I hope I have done a good enough job at explaining my situation, and explaining that sometimes life gets the better of you, and bad things happen, I know that now. I just want to move forward.
