Petition Letter
I am appealing for a waiver for the requirement to withdraw from the Faculty of Arts and Science for one year. My extenuating circumstances include physical illnesses and psychological challenges.
The direct connection between the extenuating circumstances and their effect on my academic performance is that they have caused me to not to be able to concentrate effectively on my academic studies. The events occurred around the month of October in the year of 2021, affected me constantly and consistently and is ongoing, all my works in all my courses were affected. I have not taken any step to deal with the extenuating circumstances during their occurrence as I was hardly aware, I recently however had a consultation with a health care professional at the Côté Sharp Student Wellness Centre of the Student Wellness Services.
