Re: Appeal to Waive 21 day timeline dated May 24, 2022- Student Number: 20284613
Dear Sirs:
Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am appealing to waive the 21 day timeline issued on my SOLUS account dated May 24, 2022. I am doing so in order that I may subsequently appeal to waive a requirement to withdraw from Queen??s University for one year.
Reluctantly due to illness, I was unable to respond to the appeal within the 21 day timeline as I became unwell on May 26, 2022 where I was bedridden due to debilitating symptoms.
These symptoms lasted until early July 2022.
Upon calling my Family Doctor for medical support, they advised that I should not attend the office with the severe symptoms,. As these reoccurring symptoms rendered me from lucid thinking and functioning, I sincerely apologize I was unable to respond to appeal to the 21 day suspension in SOLUS until mid July; where at that time, I realized that my response was due by June 14th. From mid July until today, I awaited my Physician??s letter, which I have respectfully attached for your review and consideration and look forward to your decision in this regard..
Sincerely,
Aaron Chapman
