The list below is the courses I plan to take from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology:
1202 Introduction to Astronomy I, equivalent to Queen's ASTR 101. this course continues to provide students with an overall introduction to the origin, structure and evolution of the solar system, the universe, the stars and galaxies and other components in the universe. At the same time, students will also critically explore the relationship between astronomy and modern life, the origin of life, and so on.
5010 Elementary Japanese I, equivalent to Queen's JAPN 100. This course, which is designed for beginners or near-beginners, focuses on the development of basic oral and writing skills in Japanese and offers an introduction to Japanese culture. Through this course, students will learn basic skills in reading and writing the Japanese phonetic alphabets, Hiragana and Katakana and a limited number of Kanji.
5011 Elementary Japanese II is equivalent to Queen's JAPN 200. Designed for students who have taken 5010 Elementary Japanese I, this course develops students?? basic oral and writing skills in Japanese and offers an introduction to Japanese culture. Through this course, students will learn basic skills in reading and writing the Japanese phonetic alphabets, Hiragana and Katakana and a limited number of Kanji.
