Hello,
My name is Charles Mackinnon and I am resubmitting this appeal today asking for permission to be a visiting student at the University of Calgary. I would like to take economics credits there next term toward my degree as I will not be returning to campus. My mental illness negatively impacted my academic success and I have decided to take a year away in the hopes of getting a better handle on my depression and suicidal ideation. I have already submitted this appeal previously, but my GPA did not reach the required height to allow the appeal. Now that those courses have been discredited, I am hopeful that you will allow the appeal to proceed as planned as soon as possible so I can meet the University of Calgary deadline.
