Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean,
My name is Xinran Hu, student ID 20269644. Currently, I am a second-year undergraduate student at Queen??s University studying Fine art and Education. I am appealing to drop ARTH 250 (Fall 2022).
Currently, my ability does not support me to complete this course to achieve my personal academic goal. In this early semester, I am experiencing illness from Covid-19, which does not allow me to have a great academic performance. Also, my mindset/mental health is impetuous, so I need to slow down my academic process in order to have a better mindset and passion for my academic career. Due to the covid, I missed the course drop earlier deadline, everything was a mass at that time. Since I already have a very low grade in this course, I don??t want to have a very low mark on my academic report.
My future plan for this situation is to take this course again in the future terms with a better mindset and health to achieve my goals.
