Petition Letter
To whom this may concern, my name is Zev Heller and I am a third year student majoring in Economics. I am writing this letter because I am hoping to participate in a study abroad program in Barcelona during the winter semester of 2023. I think this would be a unique opportunity for me to experience a different culture and learning environment. It will also give me the opportunity to take diverse courses that are not available at Queen's. These courses include Mediterranean Politics, Ideas that made Europe, Understanding the European Economy, A Greater Middle East, and International Economics. These courses are not available at Queens because they all relate to a totally different part of the world. That being said, I am interested in learning about Europe and the Middle East to a further extent. Currently, I am on track to finish my degree and have completed all the necessary courses so far. I am also aware of the future requirements for my degree, and I am confident that taking this opportunity will not interfere with me fulfilling those requirements. I have been at Queen??s for two and half years, and although my experience has been very positive, I think an opportunity like this would give me a chance to experience university in a new light.
