Established by Brian Hennen, M.D. 1962, in honour of Sean Alexander Hennen Strang, to advance teaching and learning in the field of Developmental Disabilities in adults.

The Shirley and Bruce Edwards Better World Fund

Funds will be used to support the research, design, and development of the Open Plastic Research program led by members from the Department of Chemistry, Department of Biology, and Department of Chemical Engineering.

The Shirley Bell Award

Established from the estate of Shirley Bell and donations from her husband, Eric C. Bell, awarded on the basis of need and academic merit to a student concentrating in Mathematics and Statistics or in the Math and Engineering program.

The Shirley C. Kennedy Scholarship in Civil Engineering

Established in memory of Shirley C. Kennedy, Arts 1940, and awarded on the basis of academic excellence to a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in the Department of Civil Engineering in Smith Engineering.

The Shirley Simpson Memorial Bursary

Established in memory of Shirley Simpson. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to a student in any year in any undergraduate degree program in the Faculty of Arts and Science. Preference will be given to a part-time student.

The Simon McNally Bursary in Civil Engineering

Established in memory of Simon McNally. Awarded on the basis of need, scholarship and evidence of construction experience and practical background, to a third year student in Civil Engineering in Smith Engineering.
