The Swimming Booster Club
Funds raised by this club directly supports athletes, coaches, program development and equipment. Funds will be used at the discretion of the Executive Director of A&R in consultation with the Head Coach and Booster Club President.
The Sylvain Routhier Memorial Award
Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to Masters or PhD level students in Department of Psychology. Preference to students pursuing thesis research or coursework in clinical psychology or research in first responder therapy and rehabilitation.
The Sylvia C. Small Award in Piano Accompaniment
Established in honour of Sylvia C. Small. Awarded to a student entering the third or fourth year of the Bachelor of Music program on the basis of financial need and outstanding accomplishment in accompaniment.
The Sylvia Lodge Endowed Ovarian Cancer Research Fund
Established by the Lodge family in memory of Sylvia Marie Lodge. Through support of ongoing research on ovarian cancer, the Lodge family hopes to improve the outcomes for future patients.
The T. Kurtis Kyser Memorial Scholarship
Awarded on the basis of academic excellence in geochemistry course(s) to students entering fourth year of a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree program with an academic plan in Geology.
The T.R. Sullivan Memorial Prize in Surgery
Established by former classmates in memory of T.R. Sullivan, Meds'73, an annual prize to be awarded to the final year medical student attaining the greatest proficiency in Surgery.
The TD Bank Financial Group Graduate Fellowship in Arctic Environmental Issues
Established in 2009 by TD Bank Financial Group and awarded to funding eligible MA or PhD level students pursuing research in environmental issues that are of practical relevance to the Arctic region. The fellowship will provide travel ans stipend support.
The Teaching and Research Fund
Support of this fund will help launch new Centres of Excellence with the creation of the Centre for Mineral Resource Studies, the Centre for Water, Environment and Health, and the Queen's Energy Institute.
The Ted and Adrienne Goldthorpe Admission Award
Established by Ted Goldthorpe, BCom'99, and Adrienne Goldthorpe, BCom'99. Awarded on the basis of financial need and academic excellence to students entering first year of the Bachelor of Commerce program in the Smith School of Business.
The Telgmann Bursary
Established by the Telgmann family in memory of Prof. Oscar Telgmann and his daughter, Mignon. Awarded to a needy student in the BMus program. In the case of equal merit, pref. to a student whose major instrument is violin, viola, cello or double bass.
