The Harvey Fine Fund in support of Commerce Health and Wellness
Established by the Honourable Justice Gloria Epstein, B.Com '72, in memory of Harvey Fine, B.Com '72. The fund will be used in support of student health and wellness initiatives in the Commerce Program at the Smith School of Business.
The Hashambhoy-Ramsay Apple Math Scholarship
Established by Yasmin Hashambhoy-Ramsay, BSc'03. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to students entering 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor of Applied Science program in Smith Engineering with an academic plan in Mathematics and Engineering.
The Hatch Award in Applied Science
Awarded on the basis of need and academic merit to full-time students in the second year in any program in Smith Engineering.The award is renewable for third year provided satisfactory academic standing is maintained and need remains evident.
The Haust Trust Fund
Established by Dr. M. Daria Haust, M.Sc. '59, to support scholarships for postdoctoral fellows and graduate students (MSc; PhD) studying pathology in the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine.
The Hazell Chemical Design and Innovation Endowed Program Fund
Established by Evan Hazell, BSc(Eng) 1981, to support outreach activities in the Chemical Engineering in Smith Engineering and to bring in guest speakers who are recognized leaders in design and innovation to enrich the programs of research and study.
The Hazell Research Professorship in Chemical Design and Innovation
Established by Evan Hazell, BSc(Eng) 1981, to support an accomplished member of the Department of Chemical Engineering to provide the leadership to grow this distinctive area of focus.
The Heard/McFarlane Award
Established by R. Bruce McFarlane, BA/BPHE'78, and Janice C. Heard, BSc(Hons)/BPHE'80. Awarded to students in first or second year in the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies on the basis of financial need and academic achievement.
The Heidi Scott Memorial Graduate Award
Family and friends are fundraising to create a graduate award in memory of Heidi Scott. Should funding minimums not be reached, gifts will be redirected to an existing fund with criteria as close to the original intent as possible.
The Helen A. Howard Bassoon Scholarship in the DAN School of Drama and Music
Established by Helen A. Howard, BA'48, and awarded for academic merit to first year students of the Bachelor of Music degree program whose principal instrument is bassoon. May be granted to upper year bassoon players if there are no suitable first years.
The Helen Bracken Anderson Bursary
Established in January 2008 by Helen Anderson, B.A. 1947, and awarded to graduate students in any program at Queen's University. Preference will be given to women students returning after a period outside formal education (work, family).
