The J. William and Marion E. (Smith) MacKinnon Fund

Established by Marion E. MacKinnon, Arts '43, in memory of her late husband J. William MacKinnon. The proceeds of this fund will provide the Head of the Economics Department with discretionary funds to promote excellence in teaching and research.

The J.A. Corry Lecture Fund in Law

Established by Dr J.A. Corry, to fund an invited lecturer to Queen's Law to deliver a lecture on some aspect of the relation of law and politics, taken up either in general and philosophic terms or some lively current Canadian issue.

The J.A. Corry Memorial Endowment

Established in memory of J. Alex Corry, Principal of Queen's, to support the Institute of Intergovernmental Relations to enhance its program of research, publication and conferences.

The J.D. Hatcher Award

Established in memory of J. Donald Hatcher and awarded to an undergraduate medical student to be used for a clinical or research critical enquiry elective, or equivalent project, normally outside Kingston.

The J.D. McCowan Award in Integrated Learning

Established in honour of Dr. James D. McCowan. Awarded to a graduating student or graduating members of the student team that have made a significant contribution to the Integrated Learning Initiative during their time in Smith Engineering.

The J.E. Hawley Memorial Bursary

Established by Alban H. Norton, PEng BA(Hons)'36, in memory of J.E. Hawley. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to a student registered in the second year of either the Geological Engineering or Geological Sciences program.

The Jacqueline Hodgins Kelly Bursary

Established in honour of Jacqueline Hodgins Kelly by her son, Stacy Kelly, BA(Hons)'96. Awarded on the basis of financial need to women students who, after an interruption in formal education, are beginning or returning to university studies.

The JADE Award

Established by Douglas Ellenor, BSc(Hons)'66, and Jo-Anne Ellenor, BSc(Hons)'67. Awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement to students in second, third or fourth year in Geological Science or Biological Science.

The Jaic Weinberg Exchange Award

Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic achievement to students in any year of a Bachelor of Commerce degree in the Smith School of Business who have been selected to participate in a formal Queen's University bi-lateral exchange.
