The Ken Dryden/Edward Fletcher Award
Awarded to a student entering first year in any faculty or school who has had significant experience in the Child Welfare System in Ontario and who demonstrates need. The award is renewable for the following three years.
The Ken Grewal Commerce Health and Wellness Fund in honour of Bobby Karabatsos
Established by Ken Grewal, BCom'96, in honour of Bobby Karabatsos, to support student health and wellness initiatives in the Commerce Program at the Smith School of Business.
The Ken Lockwood Memorial Award in Art Conservation
Established in memory of Ken Lockwood, M.A.'84, by family, friends and colleagues, and awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement to a graduate student registered in the Master's program in Art Conservation at Queen's University.
The Kenneth H. McKibbin Bursary
Established by Brigadier General Kenneth H. McKibbin, Sc. 1938, and awarded to a student in any year of any degree program in Smith Engineering on the basis of financial need.
The Kenneth Russell Endowed Lecture Series
Established in honour of Professor Kenneth Russell to support the costs associated with bringing eminent academics or chemists to Queen's University. Funds will cover expenses related to the lecture/event, honoraria and/or speaking fees.
The Kevin A. Armstrong Memorial Award
Established by Alan and Ursula Armstrong in memory of their son Kevin A. Armstrong, MA'99, and awarded to a graduate student in the first year of any graduate program, with preference given to a student in the Department of Philosophy.
The Kevin Gordon Rankin Memorial Graduate Award
Established in memory of Kevin Rankin by Gord and Marie Rankin. Awarded to a graduate student in the Faculty of Health Sciences or the Faculty of Arts and Science, with a demonstrated research interest in depression and psychosis in young adults.
The Keyser Fellowship
Established to encourage students to develop the competencies they will need following graduation and generate enthusiasm for the study of mathematics. Fellowships will develop their skills by applying the knowledge they are taught in the classroom.
The Killam American Scholarship
Established in memory of Izaac Walton Killam by his sisters. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to students who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States entering first year of any first entry undergraduate degree program.
The Kim Van Steenbergen (Nursing 1978) Award
Established by Kim van Steenbergen, BNSc 1978, and Jeff van Steenbergen, BSc (Honours) 1977. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic achievement to students in third or fourth year of a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree program.
