Established by John and Leah O'Neill and awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students entering first year of the Bachelor of Commerce program in the Smith School of Business.
The John R. McCarthy Scholarship
Established by John R. McCarthy, BA'43, LLD'67. Awarded to a graduating student leader who has made a personal contribution to Queen's, shown fondness for sport, and who will attend the Faculty of Education in the fall immediately following graduation.
The John Rae Prize in Political Studies
Established in honour of John Rae, BA(Hons)'67 (Political Studies), canadian Political figure and former Chairman of the Queen's Board of Trustees. Awarded on the basis of academic merit to an upper year Political Science student in Arts and Science.
