The John A. McRae Lectureship in Chemistry
Established in memory of Prof. John A. McRae to support costs associated to bringing eminent academics or chemists to campus. Funds used for expenses related to travel, accommodation, food, advertising and publication, honoraria and/or speaking fees.
The John A. Watts Award
Established by John A. Watts, BSc'49, to recognize academic achievement and athletic excellence. Awarded upper-year full-time student athletes enrolled in any undergraduate program who are members of the Men's Gaels interuniversity Track and Field Team.

The John and Helen Vanderburgh Research Fund in the Faculty of Health Sciences
Established by Helen Vanderburgh to be used by the Faculty of Health Sciences as it may determine for basic and clinical biomedical genetic research studies.
The John Angus Carther Scholarship
Established by the Estate of John A Carther. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to students from the Counties of Stormont, Dundas or Glengarry, in first year of the Faculty of Arts and Science or or Smith Engineering.
The John Armitage Rowing Athletic Award
Established in by friends and family in honour of John Armitage. Awarded on the basis of academic achievement and athletic excellence to student-athletes in any degree program and who are on the competition roster of a Gaels interuniversity rowing team.
