The John Deakin Buckley Walton Excellence in Student Teaching Award

Established by a bequest from the estate of John Deakin Buckley Walton. Awarded to the student graduating in the Intermediate-Secondary stream or Technological Education in the Faculty of Education who has demonstrated excellence in student teaching.

The John Deakin Buckley Walton Scholarship in Nursing

Established through a bequest from John D.B. Walton, Arts'45. Awarded to the second year student enrolled in the Master of Science program of the School of Nursing, who achieved the highest overall average in the four required half courses in first year.

The John Deutsch University Centre Revitalization Project

Established to support the future revitalization of the John Deutsch University Centre.

The John Downs Fund

The John Downs Fund will be disbursed at the discretion of the Dean, Smith Engineering for the advancement of teaching and learning in Smith Engineering.

The John F. Fielding Memorial Bursary

Awarded on the basis of financial need to students in second year of Bachelor of Arts degree with an academic plan in History and renewable for 2 subsequent years provided a satisfactory academic average is maintained and financial need remains evident.

The John Johnston Mechanical Engineering Student Project Fund

Established by John Johnston, B.Sc.(Eng) 1941, to support mechanical engineering student projects in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering in Smith Engineering.

The John L. Russell and Gerald Brenner Fund

The fund will support conservation treatment of Canadian works of art in the collection of the Agnes Etherington Art Centre. This will include repairing, stabilizing and cleaning works of art in preparation for exhibition.

The John Larsen Athletic Financial Award

Awarded on the basis of academic achievement and athletic excellence to student-athletes in any degree program who are on the competition roster of the Gaels interuniversity Football team. Preference to students from Northern Ontario.

Established to support the costs associated with bringing eminent or emerging academics or public intellectuals to the Queen's University community.

The John Nixon Award

Established by John Nixon, B.Com. 1978. Awarded on the basis of financial need and academic merit, for students entering first year of the Bachelor of Commerce program. Preference will be given to US citizens or Canadian students who live in the U.S.
