The Law ThankQ Bursary
Established by the Classes of Law 2003, 2004 and 2005. Awarded on the basis of financial need to a student in any year of studies in the Faculty of Law.
The Law Visible Minorities and Indigenous Students Awards
Established by Queen's Law alumni. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to graduate students enrolled in one of the graduate programs in the Faculty of Law. Recipients must be members of a visible minority or of Canadian Indigenous descent.
The Lawrence B. Merrell Award
Established by the estate of Yvette Merrell. Awarded on the basis of financial need to students in second, third or fourth year of Mining Engineering in the Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining or the Geological Engineering program in Smith Engineering.
The Lawrence P. Cannon Family Award
Established by Lawrence Cannon, BCom'87. Awarded to students in any year of the Bachelor of Commerce program in the Smith School of Business who have been selected to participate in a formal Queen's University bi-lateral exchange.
The Leadership Award for Community Service
Established by Michael Borden, B.Com. 1980, and awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need, academic achievement and involvement in school or community activities, to students entering first year of the Bachelor of Commerce Program.
The Leckey Family Bursary
Established by the Leckey Family for undergraduate students in financial need who are in any year in the Faculty of Arts and Science, with preference given to Black, Indigenous, equity-deserving, or first-generation students.
The Lee Award in Financial Economics
Established by Gordon Lee, BA(Hons) 1991, and awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic achievement to a student enrolled in a BA(Hons) program with a major or medial in Economics.
The Len Morrow Entrance Scholarship in Commerce
Established by Len Morrow, MBA'72. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to women students entering the first year Bachelor of Commerce program in the Smith School of Business.
The Len Morrow MBA Scholarship
Established by Len Morrow, M.B.A. 1972, and awarded on the basis of academic excellence and leadership potential to women students entering the full-time MBA program in the Smith School of Business.
