The Norman, Ian and Lorna Rogers Scholarship
Established by Arthur W. McLeod Rogers and awarded at the close of each academic year to the student who has shown the most outstanding leadership in student affairs during such academic year.
The Northern Canada Nursing Study Award
Established by Phyllis Durnford, BNSc 1969. Awarded to students in the fourth year of the Bachelor of Nursing Science program wishing to broaden their studies through a practicum placement, with preference given to a placement in northern Canada
The Nursing 1984 Bursary
Established by members of the class of Nursing 1984 in recognition of their 20th and 25th anniversaries after graduation from the School of Nursing.
The Nursing 1999 Award
Established by the class of Nursing 1999 and awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic achievement to undergraduate students in any year of the School of Nursing, with preference given to students in fourth year.
The Nursing Placement Award
Established from alumni donations to provide financial assistance to undergraduate nursing students to travel to their clinical placements. Awarded to students on the basis of financial need.
The Nursing Research Award
Established by Emeritus Professor Sharon Ogden Burke in memory of her mother Treasure Payne and her father Robert Gibson and awarded annually to the graduating student with the highest mark in Principles and Applications of Nursing Research (NURS-324).
The Nursing Skills Lab Equipment
Established in 2007 to provide funding for lab equipment that would be used by nursing students as part of their practical skills lab. This fund provides the School with the flexibility to purchase the equipment that is needed for the Nursing Skills Lab.
The O'Connor Family Faculty Award Fund
Established by Michael O'Connor, BSc 1968, to create awards to complement existing or new faculty recognition awards presented by Smith Engineering.
The Oasis Communities for Aging Well (Oasis) Program
Established to support the unique Health Sciences aging-in-place model that builds and sustains a healthy community of older adults, and facilitates research to evaluate, improve, and sustain that model.
The Obstetrics Memorial Fund
To promote knowledge in obstetrics and gynaecology and related matters.
