The D.D. Monieson Doctoral Fellowship
Established in memory of Professor Emeritus D.D. Monieson. Awarded to PhD students in the Smith School of Business based on academic excellence and a thesis topic that contributes to our usable knowledge of a business issue of contemporary importance.
The D.D. Monieson Graduate Business Scholarship
Established in honour of Prof. Emeritus D.D. Monieson. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to a student at the beginning of their Ph.D. in Management, who graduated in the previous term from the M.Sc. in Management in the Smith School of Business.
The D.D. Monieson MBA Scholarship
Established in honour of Prof. Emeritus D.D. Monieson. Awarded to graduating student teams in the MBA program, which have embraced the team-learning model and applied the management tools and skills to become a peer exemplar.
The D.D. Monieson Undergraduate Scholarship
Established in honour of Prof. Emeritus D.D. Monieson to encourage the development of liberalism in Commerce students. Awarded to a graduating student who combines high academic standing with achievement in the liberal, fine or performing arts.
The D.D.C. McGeachy Distinguished Alumni Entrance Scholarships
Established by Don McGeachy, BSc'40, and awarded to students entering the first year undergraduate program in Smith Engineering, who have an overall admission average of at least 90% including high school prerequisite courses and English.
The D.E. Loney Prize
Established in honour of Professor D.E. Loney. Awarded to the graduating Technological Education student who has shown the most outstanding qualities of character and scholarship and demonstrated potential as a teacher.
The D.H. Stock Memorial Fund
Funds used to purchase periodicals and books in French and German language and literature equally for the Library in memory of Dora Helen Stock.
The D.M. Jemmett Scholarship
Awarded to a student graduating from Electrical and Computer Engineering in Smith Engineering who has achieved the highest average in Electrical Engineering courses of all years.
The Dalton R. Mercer Scholarship
Awarded to a first year student from Sutton District High School. Preference given to those in combined Arts and Physical and Health Education. If no eligible candidate is available from SDHS, may be awarded to a student from Newmarket or Keswwick.
The Dame Sylvia Burkinshaw, D.St.J., R.N., Award
Established by the Estate of Sylvia Burkinshaw, BA'89, MPA'92, D.St.J., R.N., and St. John Ambulance Loyalist Branch. Awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement to students in second, third or fourth year of the School of Nursing.
