The David W. Bacon Distinguished Speaker Series
Established to support the costs associated with bringing eminent academics or leaders from the spheres of research and practice in Chemical Engineering in Smith Engineering to Queen's University campus.
The David Weegar Bursary in Commerce
Established by the Estate of David Weegar, BCom 1971, and awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students in any year of the Bachelor of Commerce program in the Smith School of Business.
The Dean Barry Smith Bursary
Established by the Aesculapian Society, friends and colleagues in honour of Dean Barry Smith, Meds '69. Awarded on the basis of financial need to a student in the School of Medicine, with preference to an Indigenous student.
The Dean Bill Flanagan International Studies Award
Established in honour of Bill Flanagan. Awarded to students in the Faculty of Law who have been selected to attend one of the Global Law Programs at the Bader College and/or who are participating in an international internship.
The Dean Smith Applied Science Bursary
Established by Dean Smith, B.Sc. 1981, and awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students in the second year in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering in Smith Engineering.
The Dean's Discretionary Fund in Honour of the Class of Science '40
Established by the class of Science '40 as a discretionary fund for Smith Engineering to enrich the learning environment for engineering students.
The Dean's Endowed Admission Scholarship for Bachelor of Arts (Honours)
Established in May 2015 by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science and awarded on the basis of academic excellence to students entering first year of a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in the Faculty of Arts and Science.
The Dean's Entrance Bursaries
Established with alumni donations to help defray the cost of tuition for first year students. A number of bursaries are awarded on the basis of financial need to students entering the first year of a degree program in the Faculty of Arts and Science.
The Dean's Excellence Fund
Established to provide modest grants to students registered in the Faculty of Law to enable them to participate in projects that will provide beneficial leadership experience and/or educational opportunities outside the classroom.
The Dean's MBA Admission Scholarships
Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to students entering the Full-time MBA program in the Smith School of Business.
