The Dr. S.L. Fransman Prize in Diagnostic Radiology

Established by Dr. S.L. Fransman and Mrs. Bertha Fransman. Awarded to a fourth year medical student who is entering a residency program specializing in Diagnostic Radiology. Preference will be given to students with an expressed or proven interest in MRI.

The Dr. Sam Cronk (Medicine 1915) Memorial Bursary

Established by Dr. L. Bruce Cronk, M.D. 1946, and Harriet E. (Cronk) Simmons, Arts 1941, in memory of their father. Awarded on the basis of financial need to undergraduate students in the School of Medicine.

The Dr. Sanjay Sharma Clinical Resident Award

Established by Dr. Sanjay Sharma, MSc 1997, MBA 2001, to provide an award to a postgraduate resident in the Medical Education Program for "going above and beyond the call of duty" in providing outstanding patient care.

The Dr. Sarah Prichard Scholarship in Medicine

Established by Sarah Prichard, M.D. 1974, and awarded on the basis of academic excellence and professionalism to students entering fourth year in the School of Medicine.

The Dr. Sherif El-Defrawy Lectureship Fund

Established by Dr. Sherif El-Defrawy and Dr. Laurel Bates, MD 1987, to support the costs associated with bringing prominent speakers on topics related to Ophthalmology to Queen's University.

The Dr. Shirley Taylor Memorial Scholarship

Established in memory of Dr. Shirley Taylor. Awarded to full-time students enrolled in the marketing field of study in the Ph.D. in Management program.

The Dr. Stan Brown Lecture Series

Established to support the costs associated with bringing eminent academics or chemists to Queen's University campus. These funds will be used to cover expenses related to the lecture or event, honoraria and/or speaking fees.

The Dr. Stuart E. Jenness Geological Field Studies Program Fund

Established by Dr. Stuart E. Jenness, B.Sc.(Eng.) 1948, to offset the accommodation costs for several students per annum, who are registered in the Geological Sciences and Geological Engineering Field School.

The Dr. Su-Wen Chang Admission Scholarship

Established by Dr. Su-Wen Chang, BScH'98, awarded on the basis of academic merit to an entering first year student with preference given to Arts and Science students who graduated from Sir John A. Macdonald Collegiate Institute in Agincourt, Ontario.

The Dr. Su-Wen Chang Bursary

Established by Dr. Su-Wen Chang, B.Sc.(Hons.) 1998. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students in a Biochemistry program, with preference given to students in the Bachelor (Honours) Biochemistry subject of specialization program.
