The Dr. Jeremy Nesheim Memorial Award in Biochemistry

Established to honour Dr. Jeremy Nesheim, BSc'91, PhD(Minnesota). Awarded on the basis of academic merit to a student entering the MA or PhD program in Biochemistry. Preference to those who complete their undergrad at Queen's and want to work in research.

The Dr. Joan Audrey Williams Memorial Fund

Established by the Estate of Joan Audrey Williams, MD 1970, in support of ongoing medical research in the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Queen's University.

The Dr. John A. Percival Bursary

Established in memory of John A. Percival, M.D. '33. Awarded on the basis of financial need to students in third or fourth year of the School of Medicine who have an interest in family medicine.

The Dr. John Freeman Graduate Bursary

Established in memory of Dr. John G. Freeman, B.A. 1976, B.Ed. 1977, M.A. 1990. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students enrolled in in a Masters or Doctorate degree program in the Faculty of Education.

The Dr. John Kostuik Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery

Established by Dr. John Kostuik, M.D. 1961, to support an individual who has completed his or her residency in orthopaedic surgery and is pursuing further training in an orthopaedic sub specialization.

The Dr. John O. Parker Lectureship in Cardiovascular Research

Established by anonymous donors and the Acharya family in memory of Dr. John O. Parker to support the costs associated with bringing prominent speakers on topics related to cardiology to the Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine.

The Dr. John Ramlochand Memorial Student Initiatives Fund

Established by students, faculty, friends and family in memory of John Ramlochand who taught in the Department of Film and Media. The fund will be used to support student initiatives, either individually or in groups, that would benefit the Department.

The Dr. Joseph and Mary Louise Parisi Award in Medicine

Established by Joseph Parisi, MD'84, FRCSC, and Mary Louise Parisi, BA(Hons)'86, BEd'88, and awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement to undergraduate students in any year in the School of Medicine

The Dr. Kanji Nakatsu Summer Studentship

Established by Dr. Kanji Nakatsu and "Susie" Shirley Nakatsu to provide annual funding for studentships for undergraduate or medical students to undertake research endeavours in the Department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences.

The Dr. Katherine M. Detre Award

Established in October 2007 by a bequest from the estate of Dr. Katherine M. Detre, MD'52, and awarded on the basis of financial need to an International Medical Graduate in a Residency program at Queen's University to support further training.
